McGregor Veterinary Clinic

The equine branch of this practice has expanded dramatically in the past few years and now deals with many of the larger racing stables and studs in the South West region of the state. Some of the regular clients have become household names in Western Australia such as Line on, Norm's Daughter (pictured below), Scanio, Another Omen, Demon Queen etc.

Dr McGregor's special interest lies in the analysis of blood results for racing horses. Many trainers take advantage of his expertise in this area to ensure their horses are trained to, and working at their peak. The service is routinely utilised by trainers from Perth and as far away as Hong Kong and Singapore. Since 1987, blood analysis has been available to clients from out of the Bunbury area by fax but, now we can also offer an E-Mail service.

Complimenting the Bunbury practice are the two regular runs to visit out-of-town clients. These are carried out each week by Dr McGregor. On Tuesdays there is a run "Down South" generally covering the Donnybrook, Manjimup, Northcliffe, Pemberton, Bridgetown and Greenbushes areas. The other regular run on Thursdays involves the Collie area. Bookings for these runs must be made at least twenty four hours in advance. Regular trips are made to Lake Clifton, Pinjarra, Mandurah and Perth.
