This page is in rememberance of Caspurr, a plucky little cat who lived at the clinic for approximately 4 years.

Prior to moving to McGregor Veterinary Clinic, Caspurr (previously known as plain ol' Casper!) had lived at home with Dr McGregor who adopted her in the early 80's when he found her pregnant and living on the steets.

picture of CaspurrShe settled into life as a Clinic cat with no problems, keeping the dogs in line with a swift scratch to the nose! She enjoyed sunbaking in the carpark and her attitude was one of "If you want me to move out of your way, you will just have to WAIT!"

Caspurr had a strange gait - she paced like a horse! Her excuse was that she had arthritis; we just think she'd been around Dr McGregor too long. Despite her disability she enjoyed going walkabouts occasionally, once following a stranger home several blocks away.

Unfortunately, this wanderlust was to be her downfall when she followed a lady with two dogs out of the clinic and across the major road. She didn't make it to the other side. Despite emergency care, she passed away an hour later.
