Hello and thankyou for visiting.

As you know, my name is Rhonda and I am 38 years old. I live in a small city called Bunbury in Western Australia, where I was born. Bunbury is on the south-western coast of the state, approximately 200km south of the capital city, Perth.

I have two younger sisters, 2 nieces, and 4 nephews.

I studied for 2 years for my Diploma of Teaching but quit after deciding that I really did not want to be a teacher. After 18 months of odd jobs, I was lucky to get the job I have now as a Veterinary Nurse as I love animals.

I love Shih Tzu dogs. You can read about them by clicking the link. My mother has rabbits which I showcase on my pages, and I have an Ocellaris Clownfish (like Nemo) who is about 15 years old, a few freshwater aquarium fish, and 3 budgies (parakeets), the eldest of which is nearly 10 years old.

Unfortunately, I no longer own a cat but I have had two lovely cats:

The first was April, a shaded silver Persian. I got her when I was 8 years old. She was our breeding cat when she was a younger girl, when we bred a few litters under the registered "Mimosa" prefix. She was later desexed at 3 years of age. She was very friendly and loved to "talk". She lived till she was 18 years old! She is pictured at left aged 16.

My last cat was an orange-eyed white persian that I acquired 3 months after I lost April. She was brought into the Vet Clinic after being hit by a car and had a badly injured left eye. After a week, no owner had showed so I took her home. She was the most affectionate cat I have ever seen. She loved to sit under my chin and nudge me with her head. After 3 eye operations and 9 wonderful months together she was sadly killed by another car :(

In my spare time I like to spend time surfing the net. I also enjoy online karaoke at SingSnap, and doing Sudoku puzzles (on paper!) I have always kept a wide variety of pets which keep me busy. I enjoy showing my shih tzu as well as being actively involved with the The Shih Tzu Club of Victoria, maintaining their website, writing a quarterly Western Australian news column for their newsletter, and having edited the latest edition of The Shih Tzu in Australasia record book.

I have always loved music - all sorts (except classical, country and rap - but even then there are the occasional songs that I don't mind!). My favourite bands are and Boy George (Culture Club). Adam Ant was also a favourite when I was growing up.
I enjoy all the current Top 40 tunes as well as dance and club music and alternative stuff.
